Statement
"Personally, I have looked for events incinerated to reinterpret them. Fire as a civilizing element, its perception linked to the alchemy of painting and its encrypted messages builds a broad interest in ways of seeing. Now from the optical and anaglyphic vision of stereoscopy , its bichromaticity and its three-dimensional perception from the outdated two-dimensionality allows me to expand a contemporary vision of what is the continuous game beetween composition and vision. The construction of the painting as the deconstruction of it, is fundamental to me. For that reason I start with one particular consideration in addition to compositional gaps, the ellipsis concept such as a auto-da-fé("act of faith") process. An auto-da-fé as well as the action of eliminate specific elements or to sustract them from a determinate structure… even to sustract from painting. To sump with, I try to let the materials to express themselves. The vestige ought to be alive, his facets, his times, his layers and his combustion. I prefer the idea of a semi - complete painting, which makes sincere his issues and body. To appreciate the vulnerability and corruption of painting, of the mimesis itself. To manifest with each stroke the made and unmade such as a continuous way of his existence and extinction. To paint like if every painting was one of the last ashes which would have ignited all around it, all… and would have carried with it the ideas, experience and the fallacious vision of a collective construction of what we call as reality and civilization."
